Emma and Jordan: A Love-Filled Wedding Day at Bernwood Farms
Some wedding days feel beautiful. This one felt alive — loud, joyful, and overflowing with energy from start to finish.
Bernwood Farms is a place where stories settle naturally into the land. Expansive fields of grapevines stretched across the property, a train rumbled behind the estate throughout the day, and a quiet pond sat tucked beneath a sweeping willow tree. It was the perfect backdrop for Emma and Jordan, a couple whose love, laughter, and incredible people filled every corner.
All week, the forecast threatened rain — the kind of steady, stubborn rain that makes you rethink everything. But as we woke up that morning, to our surprise the forecast had changed and the clouds softened! The rain held off, and the energy of the day carried everyone through.
The Morning: Music, Laughter, and the Sweetest First Looks
The morning was full of song and laughter. Emma’s girls brought such a spirited energy — especially during bridesmaid photos, when they walked me they were all singing “Going to the Chapel.” It was playful, fun, and unforgettable, setting the tone for a day that was anything but ordinary.
Then came Emma’s first look with her dad — a moment that carried its own kind of volume. His reaction wasn’t just seen, it was felt. The emotion between them was powerful, raw, and a reminder that weddings are as much about family as they are about the couple.
A Ceremony by the Pond
Emma and Jordan’s ceremony overlooked the pond, with the willow tree swaying behind them and the train occasionally roaring past in the distance. Instead of breaking the moment, it added to the atmosphere — a reminder that life was moving all around them, while their vows held center stage.
The ceremony was filled with praise, song, and heartfelt words, echoing across the estate with a joy that couldn’t be contained.
And their families… truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever photographed. Welcoming, warm, and so deeply connected. You could feel how much they adored Emma and Jordan, how proud they were, and how ready they were to celebrate every second with them.
Sunset in the Grape Vines
As the sun began to dip, Emma and Jordan slipped away into the family’s grapevines — rows and rows glowing in the golden light. It felt like stepping into a private world tucked inside their family’s history.
They held each other, laughed, and let the energy of the day settle into something tender and romantic.
It was one of those moments where you can see the future in the way two people look at each other. Loud joy gave way to quiet certainty.
The Most Epic Ending
The night concluded with one of the most unforgettable moments I’ve ever photographed. After sharing a beautiful same-day sneak peek from us with their family and friends — a moment that brought tears, cheers, and so much joy — Emma and Jordan ran straight toward the pool.
And then it happened.
About forty people jumped in after them.
Clothes, dresses, suits, laughter echoing across the estate — it was pure celebration. Pure freedom. Pure “this is our people and this is our joy.”
Loud, chaotic, and absolutely epic. The kind of moment that can’t be planned, can’t be replicated, and becomes a story Emma and Jordan’s family will tell for decades.
A Day That Felt Like Home
Bernwood Farms wasn’t just a venue — it was a piece of Emma and Jordan’s family history, and you could feel that in every detail. The songs, the laughter, the emotional first looks, the train rumbling behind the property, the summer air, the sunset in the vines, and that unbelievable pool jump… it all came together in a way that felt completely them.
It was a day full of laughter, happy tears, incredible people, and the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up and relive forever. And honestly, I can’t imagine a more perfect way for Emma and Jordan to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter.
